SA Country Carers is not-for-profit organisation who provide services , assistance and resources to unpaid carers of family or friends.  They have offices in Clare and Balaklava, South Australia.

The Challenge

SA Country Carers (SACC) needed a solution that enabled users and support staff from various locations to access everything they needed from a consolidated and secure web based portal.

Solution

During the analysis phase HordernIT representatives reviewed the existing site and the basic document management structure that had been created. We prepared a blueprint of the proposed changes that demonstrated how the site redevelopment could acheive the businesses objectives. This was signed off by the SACC management and the Sharepoint intranet was then created.

The intranet now provides SACC with a single location of key organization data including documents, calendars, forms and events. The site is accessed by all users many of which who are located remotely.

Security management ensures content is maintained and confidential data is accessible only by authorized personnel.

Content is kept fresh and engaging with the use of wiki pages, news polls, facebook feeds, organizational announcements by a committed and enthusiastic user group.
